Hybrid Seminar “Reading Animals and Animality in Antebellum U.S. Slave Narratives” by IBAR visting fellow Aïcha Bouchelaghem

IBAR is delighted to announce a talk by IBAR visiting fellow Aïcha Bouchelaghem, a doctoral candidate in American Studies from the University of Geneva.

As part of the seminar series of UCLan’s RKE Institute for Area and Migration Studies (AMIS), she will present on “Reading Animals and Animality in Antebellum U.S. Slave Narratives.” 

The talk will place on 26 March 2025, 4-5 pm in Adelphi Lecture Theatre 5 at UCLan Preston Campus. To join online, please follow this TEAMS link.
