IBAR and project partners launch exhibition catalogue “Facing the Past: Black Lancastrians”

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Facing the Past symposium and catalogue launch at the Judges’ Lodgings Museum on 18 July 2023 in celebration of the ground-breaking exhibition of portraits by Lela Harris.

We are delighted to share our brief report on the event (click here for a version with higher-resolution images which is more suitable for printing).

Copies of the catalogue are now available to buy for £10 each at the Judges’ Lodgings Museum and on Lela Harris’s website. All proceeds go to the museum and to Lancaster Black History Group.
